W.A.Q.D

WAQD is a Dunedin-based community group for queer women (lesbian, bisexual, questioning) and their friends. 

This was a picture sent to us by a member of WAQD so thank you!

Our Mission

 WAQD was formed by three lesbians who felt that there was a real need for a community-based group that would appeal to women of all ages and backgrounds.  Our aim is to provide a safe space for women to hang out, have fun and meet new people.  We hope to arrange activities such as ice skating, picnics, movies, beach trips, café hopping and whatever else you want!  We are particularly keen to provide events where children (and dogs!) can come along and have fun too.
